Topics related to the original expedition include arriving at the mouth of the Platte River, changes noted in topography of the area, and their meeting with the first Indian they encountered since leaving St. Charles. Images of the last week on the river are included, highlighting events as the the crew moved from Nebraska City to Omaha.

   3. 15:59 to 43:25—This week's feature focus takes a closer look at the Missouri River. Our guest is Paul Johnston, Chief of Public Affairs for the Northwestern Division of the Corps of Engineers.
