Contents of the Broadcast:

   1. Opening to 2:34--Introduction, welcome, information on today's location, orientation to today's topic, what the Corps was doing at this time of the expedition during their winter in present-day Oregon

   2. 2:34 to 9:13--Scott Mandrell introduces Bill Houston, Assistant General Curator for the St. Louis Zoo. This week's program features the Zoo. In this segment they discuss the history of the zoo, its origins related to th 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis, and the the number of visitors attending annually.

   3. 9:13 to 20:30--This segment focus on education and conservation programs at the St. Louis Zoo. The wide variety of species at the Zoo is discussed and a video tour of the Zoo's exhibits is also included. Mr. Houston discusses his role at the Zoo, how he trained for his work, and he and Scott also talk about Lewis' role in identifying animals on the expedition.

   4. 20:30 to End--Scott and Mr. Houston discuss animals "discovered" by Lewis and the expedition, unusual species at the St. Louis Zoo, the importance of animals to humankind and the future of the planet Earth, and other non-animal jobs available at the Zoo. Scott then offers closing comments, topics of upcoming webcasts, thanks, and goodbye
