DLV: Character of the Corps
We explore the importance of character on both the expedition and in student lives today. The character education words "perseverance," "courage," and "cooperation" are highlighted as students explore events of the expedition and relate them to their lives today. Specific events of the expedition are highlighted including their winters spent on the trail, how they hunted and gathered food, and their crossing of the Bitterrroot Mountains.
